Tottenham still tracking Gomes

Tottenham is still tracking Barcelona star Andre Gomes - and that could mean could be the of their Ross Barkley pursuit.

As reported by The Sun; Gomes remains at target for Spurs chief Mauricio Pochettino.

The Spaniard was on the cusp of a move to north London in January.

But a remove failed to materialise as Spurs tried to get a deal through on deadline day.

Gomes could still swap Catalonia for Wembley, though.

The Sun, says a New Year raid is on the cards.

Gomes, who only joined Barca from Valencia last summer, suffered a stop-start campaign last season.

Tottenham's waits for a league win at Wembley goes on after their 0-0 draw with Swansea.

Julio Cesar (2 clean sheets) :  Jose Mourinho's Inter Milan produced a masterclass in defence to beat Barcelona 3-2 on aggregate in the 2010 Champions Leag...
